The genuine bark and silk leafed tree sat in a huge black plastic pot in the master bedroom. The tree was carefully chosen as an accessory for the room but the pot was all wrong. The owner had very distinct and artistic taste and wanted something special. After scouring the stores and coming up short, the decision was to create a unique planter that would compliment the tree and fit in with the fine furnishings of the room. An amazing rainforest green marble was found with coloring and veining that mimicked the lines of the tree limbs. The marble was broken into irregular chunks and pieced together to create subtle interest. The challenge was working with green marble and a fiberglass substrate on a rounded surface. The process was slow but the product was worth the wait.
