This shawl, large enough to alternatively be used as a lap blanket, was made for my cousin who was undergoing chemotherapy. She asked for a color scheme of blues and purples. The shawl was made to be soft and delicious feeling, providing cozy warmth and comfort along with surrogate “hugs” whenever it was used.
