This mirror and frame was inspired by Josef Albers’ series “Homage to the Square”, 1949-1964. Small strips of glass form square hues reminiscent of the ocean are used, beginning with the caramel color of wet sand from the ocean floor to the blue-green sparkling water, finally crashing upon the shore in a glistening white froth.
